Paolo de Robertis

Paolo De Robertis was born in Naples in 1950, where he is still living and working today. A diplomat in the Instituto d'Arte of Naples, he was one of the major proponents of contemporary art. His temperate paintings are enriched by the power of suggestion that nature exercises in an unaffected mind. Wrapped in the warm light of spring, his paintings put him at the height of a fantastic reality, where he fuses realistic strength and clarity of style in an almost archaic vision of interpreting nature. Typical of an artist who works passionately, De Robertis plays with colors in a subtle and calibrating style, following a steady and serene path.
