Predrag Djukic received his formal education at the prestigious University of Belgrade in Yugoslavia. While in Belgrade, he studied furniture design and interior architecture. he enjoys graphic design, noth electronic media and freehand. Several of his designs were features on a major television program in Belgrade.
Early in life, Predrag recognized his talent for art, defining his paintings somewhere between expressionism and fauvism. As evident, lively colors are a familiar element that emerges in his work. Although, use of brilliant colors makes his art almost abstract, which are figurative in nature. Some American artist described his style as lose and free.
He moved with his family to United States in June 2000. He has spent the last six years observing the arts in US, and is very delighted to become the part of it. His latest exhibition at Alfonse Gallery in Milwaukee included 30 of his paintings. Previously Predrag has exhibited his art at the Landmark Art gallery in Chicago as well as the Ipanema Gallery in Belgrade.
